Intimate Clifton Inn Wedding Charlottesville, VA

Imagine that you are just living life in New York City when your friends decide to set you up with a guy that just moved from NYC to Dallas. How inconvenient right?!? But despite the long distance, by the second date you know there is something special about this guy!! As you continue to date long distance you discover that not only were you a part of the same larger friend group while he was living in NYC , but you guys also lived in the SAME FREAKING BUILDING FOR A SUMMER! Does this sound like it could be a Hallmark Channel movie?! Well it’s not a movie plot, but the start of Haley and Max’s love story! After a few years and both of them relocating to Austin Texas, Max popped the question and Haley said yes!! 

When planning for their wedding, the biggest thing Haley & Max wanted for their day was for it to feel like them! They wanted to be able to soak in the moments and not feel like they were rushing from one thing to the next! So they decided to plan an intimate wedding for the 13 people closest to them and then they would throw a party later in the year to celebrate with everyone! And their wedding was just that! Haley started the day getting ready at the gorgeous historical Dinsmore Inn in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia! When I walked in and everyone was relaxing, and The Office was playing in the background I new it was going to be a good day! The girls were able to take there time getting ready and pop some champagne! We then all headed to to The Clifton Inn, where Max and the rest of the family was hanging out. We were able to take our time capturing family photos and Haley’s first look with her dad. We then all moved to The Clifton Inn’s secret garden for the Ceremony which was performed by Max’s sister Hannah.They ended the evening by having a private dinner on the back porch of The Clifton as the sun was setting! It was a day filled with special moments, happy tears, and lots of laughter!
