Downtown LA Couple Session

It was absolutely a great day running around LA with Mikey and Kere! First we hiked to a hidden swing. Now it’s called a “hidden swing,” but we had to wait in line to be able to use it so someone is not good at hiding things if you ask me… hahaha. Once it was finally our turn to use the swing, we each braved swinging out over the edge, and Kere being fearless goes out and leans all the back so she is practically upside down. Maybe I am being a bit dramatic, but you can see for yourself in the photos below. Next we hit up Echo Park. If you have ever watched La La Land you know the scene where they are in a swan! That is Echo Park! Now after they shot the movie there they left the swans in the lake and we were totally going to shoot on them, but they make you wear life vests. Lets just face it life vests are not cute so we did not end up on the swans, but still had a blast running about the park.

We finished the day at Griffith Observatory. Now if you have never been there at sunset I highly recommend it! SERIOUSLY such a stunning view! We ended up getting there just as the sun was setting because of traffic. The one thing that seriously sucks about LA is the traffic, if you know, you know! But anyways we made it just in time and it was the perfect way to end our shoot!

So basically we recreated the movie La La Land and it was AMAZING! But honestly the best part was just getting to hear all about these two’s love story and crushing some Indian food with them afterwards! Gosh I just love LA and these two!
