Boho-chic Wedding at the Historical Post Office, VA

Sean and Lauren met when they were 12 and 14 respectively. They grew up in church youth group together, but since Lauren was a few years older they didn’t quite run in the same friend circles. At the time Lauren just saw Sean as the dorky younger kid with a ponytail. They were in youth all through middle and high school before this would change. Thankfully middle school doesn’t last forever and Sean grew up, grew a beard and started hitting the gym. And one fateful winter break Lauren would notice that that dorky middle school boy was no more. They connected over music while Lauren was home her sophomore year of collage. After a few months of getting to know one another Lauren realized she liked Sean’s heart just as much as his grown up self.  Sean however had had a crush on Laure from the first day he had seen her!

Which brings us to their gorgeous boho-chic wedding at the Historical Post Office in Hampton Virginia. They used a lot of neutral colors with a pop of red from some vintage rugs down the aisle. Eucalyptus was used to decorate the whole space, bringing life to the White walls of the Historical Post Office.  These two surrounded by friends and family said I do as the sun light streamed in from the arched windows! During their Bridal portraits we snuck away and took a ride on a carousel located a few blocks from the Historical Post Office. We came back to finish the magical day off with a dance party to last until the stars were out!
