Malibu Point Dume Sunset Couple Session

I had the opportunity to travel to California multiple times in 2019 and shoot some amazing couples. One of them being Mark & Kristine!! After wrapping up a branding shoot with Sundream Coffee on Malibu Pier I joined up with Mark and Kristine. We then all hopped in the car and continued up North to Point Dume State Park in Malibu for sunset! Point Dume has a lot to offer as gorgeous backdrops for a session and we had the absolute best time making the most of the area. We started off with Mark and Kristine on the rocks and me on the sand which may or may not have led to me nearly being taken out by a wave I did not see coming! OOPS! (NO CAMERA GEAR WAS HARMED IN THE TAKING OF THESE PHOTOS) After getting a little wet, we decided to go exploring and climbed up and over the rocks. What we found was a little private cove!! There was maybe two or three other people besides us on this hidden stretch of beach and by the end of the session it was just us! These two were just the cutest and I basically just had to hit the shutter button on my camera!! It was so easy to capture the joy and love between Mark and Kristine because it just radiated off of them! We hung out at Point dume all evening and right as the sun was going down we found a spot on the rocks and these two cuddled up with a blanket to watch the sunset behind the coast! Any session that ends with sandy feet and watching the sunset with the ocean waves crashing near by is a session I want to be a part of!
