First Home Couple Session

When a couple has a photoshoot done, most people usually think the reason is for their engagement or maybe a baby announcement. Why do I say this? Well during almost every one of my couples photoshoots, someone yells congratulations at the couple even though they have no idea why they are having a photoshoot. The truth is you really don’t need a reason to get photos done except for the fact that you want them! For Will & Kirsten they did have a special occasion for their shoot but not one I would typically get an inquiry for! Can you guess what it is?!? I put a big clue in the title of this blog post.. 

THEY SOLD THEIR FIRST HOME!! With Will being in the military, these two were getting ready to move and be stationed in another state. They were having to saying goodbye to their first place. The first place they called home as husband and wife. Before they moved though, Kirsten wanted to capture some memories in their home with their pup Smokey!! Kirsten found some of my photos on Pinterest and told me about her idea to capture their home and little family! And that is how I came to be spending the afternoon with these three! In home sessions are just so fun because its such a relaxed environment! I mean you are in your own home, I don’t know how it can get anymore relaxing than that! Haha We started off in their little sunroom chilling on the couch with Smokey! We then moved into the Kitchen where they had their first dance after they were married so of course I had them slow dance in the Kitchen. We ended the session popping champagne in the front yard, excited for their next adventure as a family!
