NYC Washington Square Park Wedding

I think I will never tire of shooting in New York City. The city is always changing, yet ever the same. So when Denise reached out to me after seeing some of my previous NYC work on Pinterest, I was super excited to shoot there again. Denise having lived in the city for almost 20 years, it has become like a second home to her. Coming back through the city on a visit to the states, Denise thought it would be a meaningful place to capture some memories with her husband Steven.  We met up in Washington Square park to start their session. This park that is usually flooded with people was completely empty at sunrise. Giving us the most peaceful space to create in a normally very crowded city. If you have never been to Washington square park it is in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. It is one of the best known NYC public parks and it has the iconic Friends fountain and Washington arch that makes you feel like you are in Europe somewhere. Once we were done in the park we wandered the surrounding area for a bit. We then hopped in an Uber to finish the session in the Soho area. Denise wanted them to end the morning with coffee and pastries at the Balthazar. This French brasserie serves traditional French fare from breakfast through supper every day. With it’s cute outdoor seating and bright red awnings, it made for the perfect spot to end the session.
