Forsyth Park Savannah Georgia Couple Sesson

If you have been following me for any length of time, these two faces might look familiar. I first met Ryan & Storm because they agreed to model for me and another photographer in Shenandoah National Park years ago when I lived in Virginia. There was an instant friendship that day and since then, Storm has second shot for me (CHECK OUT HER WORK) and they have both modeled for me when I was working for North End Bag Co. Last year, after building out a killer van, they decided to travel around the country. When I found out they were coming semi close to me in Charlotte, and by close to me I mean 4 hours away to Savannah Georgia, I knew it was a great chance to see them and capture some photos for the start of their journey.  It was my fist time to Savannah. It definitely gave me Charleston vibes, but different.  Located in the historic district of Savannah is Forsyth Park. It is a 30-acre of green space in the city. The park was originally created in the 1840s and has since become a central hub for locals and visitors alike. Its design is influenced by the 19th-century Victorian style, featuring walking paths, gardens, fountains, recreational areas and it is the perfect backdrop for photos. We decided to start at Forsyth Park and we wandered around this beautiful space as we caught up on life and I snapped photos. The area and neighborhood around the park are just as beautiful and we decided to leave are cars where they were and just walk until we found spots we liked. We ended up just a few blocks away on a street with gorgeous architecture and grand staircases.

All in all it was a beautiful Spring day in Savannah capturing some pretty rad humans I get to call friends.
