Alabama Hills California Couple Session

I first saw the location Alabama Hills on instagram and I knew that one day I wanted to shoot there. I had other locations that were higher on my list of places to shoot at so I never looked closely to where this place actually was. I just saved one of the photos I saw on instagram and went on my way. Well when I decided to make a trip out to Death Valley National Park with friends, I started to do a lot of research. That research revealed that this location was only about an hour away from the park! Immediately I was excited for the possibilities of hitting up both locations! So I mentioned it to my friends and of course it became a must stop! And that is where Ethan & Sydney come in. They were friends with one of my friends that was going on the trip and they were fairly new to the California area. Being adventurous themselves they were all for coming and meeting us in the middle of California to model for me and make my dreams come true.

We met up before sunset and had a great time just exploring the area and capturing their love. Thankfully the area was pretty deserted and we had this amazing spot mostly to ourselves. We ran into some campers at the end and had some people in Jeeps drive by us. And if you scroll down to the shots with the long road and mountains in the background you can see the dust the jeep kicked up, which was a little annoying in real life trying to breath and all but actually looks really cool in photos. We ended the session by using the lights from our own jeep to light Sydney & Ethan as they danced under an endless starring night.
